I guess it was decided it was not pleasurable enough for its effects lol.

From those studies it seems to be more dangerous than XTC, weed, hasj or shrooms used as often for the same amount of time.

Holland has a distinction between the legal softdrugs, and the illegal harddrugs. this distinction is not based on their pleasure, but on their medical danger.

I guess absinthe didn't make it.

that is not real absinthe they are selling. that is liqour that tastes like absinthe minus the wormwood.

Yeah there's a Coffeeshop at walking distance from my high school, in the harbour. which is actually a pretty and historic part of town.

They sell weed of different flavours and strengths, about 20 bucks for 6 grams I believe for some decent stuff that's supposed to be more potent than what's sold in the US.

Hasj I'm not sure. its probably around the same price.

Mushrooms go in bags of 5 mushrooms, probably costs about the same as one of those 6 gram weed bags

XTC is not sold in shops, its illegal to produce and to sell. but if the cops catch you with them and you are carrying less than 5 of them, it's considered personal use and they can't arrest you or take it off you.

If you are carrying more and you are considered a distributor you get maybe a month in prison or so. I'm not sure. Our prisons are not tough like yours either. Guards actually prevent abuse and you have a tv and radio and your own cell.

It seems booze and the legal drugs are about equally popular, but in two different groups.

I'd say booze is still more popular. Just doesn't involve sucking stuff down your lungs, and is STILL cheaper.

Me and my friends went through a smoking every weekend fase, and some of my friends but not me would skip school sometimes and smoke some on a bench in the park. (they all still passed their exams btw)

In our whole school of 1400 kids there are 1 or 2 or so that I'd call hooked that smoke like every day. They are from troubled families.

All in all, a good time. Next time absinthe is around, I'll drink it alone (no beer or other alcohol) so I can see what its lone effects feel like.

Now, I have to nurse a headache and get ready to go to work in a few hours.

As long as you didn't end up with a sore ass, and some guy you don't know calling and asking if you wanna do it again, it's ok.

dont europeans live off of that shit? it's illegal hear, for god only know why, but it is very legal everywhere else. i heard some bars in europe will limit a person to 3 shots.
