315lbs @ 120lbs, 5'

I should expect doing 315 lbs at my next powerlifting comp.
BTW, I'm 5' , 120lbs

Anyone ever heard of "Breathing Squats"? Demon introduced me to them last week. You basically pick a weight you know you can only do about 10 times on a good day. Then, you do 20 reps with it. You can take as long as you need, the only rule is you can't rack it. I did 365 for my 20 and I felt it for days!
Those "breathing squats" are intriguing. I'll give them a try figuring a guy named kingsquat knows squat....or should I say knows his squats.
Squats are the best damned exercise in the gym in my book. Few people do them...they blow their time on the curls.:confused:
 
hey fellas just thought i would update you

squat is now up to 405 for 2 reps after only7 weeks

oh yeah im the man (well not really but at least let me say it just this once)
 
My all time best is 500 for 5 reps with no wraps or belt and thats ass to the floor. I was about 245lbs at the time I did that and that was after 315 for 20 reps and 405 for 8.

Right now I stay at 405 for reps, my knees have been hurting lately. Also I do legs twice a week. i do heavy quads and light hams on Saturday and Heavy hams and light quads on Wed.

On Saturday we start with extentions to warm up and then to 5 sets of squats, 3 sets of leg press and 2 sets of slow hacks then to hams, everything for hams is done for 20 reps.

On Wed. I hit hams first with 4 sets of lying curls, 3 sets of standing and 2 sets of stiff legged deads then on to 1 legged extentions for 20 reps 3 sets, lunges 3 sets of 20 and finish up with 3 sets of squats for 20 reps. My legs have hit a new level of growth training like this. i will do this for about 4 more weeks and then back to once a week for a while to give them a break.
 
Right now I do about 185-225 ech set is abou 20-24 range and I do about 4 sets. This is after sprinting 4-8 hundred yard sprints, yeah I know I'm outa of practice when squating.
 
305 for reps....max 405x2. I'd love to do more but a bad knee bothers me. I save the real brutal stuff for the leg press.

I get enough of this stuff in real life. kids benching 3 times as much as me.........it gets a bit boring.

what im talking about is people lying about how much they lift.

this thread is an open invitation for people to lie about how much they lift......make everyone think they are the best. It makes them out to be the next ed coan.......when they can only squat as much as bill gates.

Im sick of hearing how much people lift.

I have met a lot of people who lift weights and a handfull that dont lie about how much they lift.
When someone tells me how much they lift.......i ask them....why dont you come and train with me. NO ONE WILL SAY YES.
you know why? because they cant back up there words. people have told me that they bench 100kgs for reps.......they come to the gym with me and barely push up 40kgs for a double.

Do you understand what im saying kaotic or should i dumb it down a level or two.....jeez some people are immature


i never said i was strong anyway.
