do you know of a link that tells you cause this person on another board dont believe you can only gain 5-7 pound of muscle in a month in perfect circumstaces...

he being rediculas saying your body can build 1 pound of muscle a day on cycle....

Ive put on about 5lbs of muscle in a month while on a heavy short 4 week cycle. I cant imagine putting on anymore than that. DOing that is hard as hell. End up putting on about 25 lbs of bodyweight doing it. The rest is water and bodyfat.

Bro. Your basic science courses explain that skeletal muscle is only about 15% protein and some 80% water. If you consider anabolic protein gain = lean muscle, it is literally impossible to gain 1lb of real muscle a day.... That simply cannot be done. However, I have seen it done with a big enough dose of Anadrol. Almost all water and immediately disappears when you go off AAS.

Well.. Off cycle.. Ive heard that you can max get 1 pound a week.. Dont really know about on cycle..

When I was younger, I averaged over 1 lb a week for almost 12 weeks. But I was young and had no job. Non AS. I did use creatine though. Put on 25 lbs, kept almost 20. I've done similar 4 years ago, putting on 22 and keeping almost 15. I have the pics from that one. 12 weeks, training 4 days straight, whole body twice.(half each day). then 3 days in a row off.

On similar schedule as we speak, this time with AS. I'm up 15 lbs. in 5 weeks. Only on dbol and creatine so far. hittin test this week. I have pics for this one too. Cause people always call bullshit on me.

It depends on a lot of things.

Genetics, cycling or natty, diet and training.

It will be more in the beginning and get progresivlly less over time.

If you are adding 10lbs of solid muscle/yr, I'd say you're doing pretty good.

natty right.

During my first cycle, I put on 25 lbs and my bodyfat only went up 1%. But like I said, it was my first cycle and it was all new to my body. Not sure how much muscle I put on tho.

I would say 5lbs max.
Assuming it was 10-12wks.

True. And don't forget age.

For an experienced maxed out natural lifter who decides to use gear, I'd say 10-12 keepable poundsthe first year max -- and it doesn't matter how long you stay on or how much juice they use. The body can only hold on to so much weight. Do just as much as you need -- train right, eat right, use the right supps and you'll get that 10 pounds. But expecting any more is simply unrealistic.

Age is definetely a huge factor to consider.

For a seasoned lifter I think a 4-6lb/yr is more reasonable.

Look at the upper level pros, they are so far past their genetic limits, a couple lbs/yr is probably all they expect and their entire life revolves around bodybuilding.

It's discouraging, but it's reality.

What are you guys talking about? Muscle or the muscle tissues or sumshit. Nearly everyone gains 20lbs+ on their first cycle and keeps 80% of it with proper PCT. Me and a few friends of mine have gained alot on first cycle an dkept nearly all of it or all of it. Very little fat gain. Are you saying we only gained 5lbs of muscle? How does that make sense, wheres the other 15lbs+ we kept after PCT.

Ive been hearing this alot lately. I dont want to argue it, im just asking how can only 5lbs be muscle when there was solid 20lbs+ gain no including the excess bloat and excess fat? Are you not including the water part of the muscle or what? Cause muscles are filled with water and blood.
