naturally, it depends the girl as well. some are more inclined to take up this challenge because they want the attention, but others won't give a fuck if you ignore them. the attractive ones might want the attention, but they're not going to approach some schmuck just because he's not gawking at them.

after all, with hundreds of people in the room to look at, if her eyes land on you at all, they probably won't be there for long...unless you stand out.

I'd think a person carrying himself the right way will get noticed. Dress well, look confident, smile, eye contact, all that shit. I think anyone trying to get noticed, good looking or not, won't always get the attention they're looking for.
