Help! I gaing more fat than muscle while bulking.

I'm on a traditional Decca/Test E/D-bol cycle, but have problems gaining lean weight. No matter what I do I either does not gain or gain inches on my waist instead of my arms/legs/chest...

My stats:
38 yrs, 100kgs,bf 18% (way to high,yes I know!)

Gear:
Since my latest bloodwork reveal that I have Testosteronelevel of 200 (normal range 10-30) I'm resonably sure that my gear is good. SHBG is low (9, with normal range 15-85), so this should not be a problem.
Progesterone at 14 (normal range 0.3 - 3.7) indicate to me that the Decca really is Nandrolone.

Training:
Day 1:Legs total of 14 sets. Includes 5 sets of squats. Calves 5 sets
Day 2:Back total of 12 sets. Rowing exercises. Arms total of 8 sets
2 days off
Day 3:Legs total of 7 sets. Includes 5 sets of squats. Benchpress 5 sets, triceps 4 sets
Day 4; Deadlifts 5 sets. Leg curls 3 sets. Chins max sets of 5 reps.Varios shoulder presses and flyes, total of 9 sets.
One day off

I use a rep-range of 8-12 reps, going down to 5 reps on the big 3 while on cycle.

Diet:
Were on a low carb diet for 3 months before going on cycle. Gained about 10kg the first two weeks (probably a lot of water due to the previous diet and the D-bol).
Now aiming for a clean balanced diet of 50% carb, 40% protein and 10% fat. Always (!!!) get >2g protein pr. kg bodyweight. 5 to 6 meals pr. day depending on if I'm working out that day or not.
According to my Tanita BIA scale I have BMR of 2700-2800 kcal pr day. For daily activity I add 1000 kcal. Adding 700 kcal for training and weight gain ED, I end up at 4400 kcal pr. day.
Since I'm not very good at counting calories I think I vary from 4000 to 5000 kcal pr. day, but over the course of a week I belive I'm pretty spot on.
Now, I dont mind gaining fat while gaining muscle, but I think it's to bad that I gain more fat than muscle. What can I be doing wrong?

Sounds like you have some degree of insulin resistance. I would minimize carb intake and go higher with healthy fats. Maybe carbs in the morning, and pre workout, all very low glycemic of course. I have the same problem as you, and I eat no carbs all week except on Saturdays where I load up on carbs. I'm gonna do a cycle in a few months, and do a carb up every 4th day. By the way, I am gaining lean mass with no fat gain naturally right now, which is something I was never able to accomplish with any amount of carbs in my diet. Everyone is different, so try new things and see what works for you. Maybe look into some metformin as well
 
Why so many carbs? You know your body can use protein and fat for fuel right? What kind of carbs are you eating? Ditch potatoes, rice and any processed foods and stick with fruits and veggies. Eat quality fats (ie olives, nuts etc).

If your gaining fat your eating too much, plain and simple. 5 weeks ago I was 225, today im 229 and a LOT leaner (and stronger) and I am eating less than 3000 cals a day. With a bodyfat of 18% you can afford to eat a slight calorie deficit and should still not have problems gaining mass.
 
While on keto I felt that my training suffered a lot. Adding carbs make my training sooo much better. I have done a test for diabetes which came back fine, but I'll see if there is a test for insulin resistance. Can mention that my SHBG was about 25 when I was on keto/off cycle.

I'm not using any AI's since bloodwork show (elevated, but) safe levels of estrogene and progesterone. Also I feel no sides. I use 600mg Decca and 700mg Test E every week. Plus 40 mg Dbol daily. Done with Dbol in two weeks.

As for weight gain I'm sure its mostly water. Who could gain 10kg of lean muscle in 2 weeks, on any amount of AAS?!
I have no problem staying on the current weight, but shouldn't the goal for bulking be to gain weight (just a better muscle to fat ratio than I'm getting)?! Half a kilo EW would be great.

bingo... that type of cycle is gonna make you stronger and more 'massive'... and deca needs lots of carbs to work best.

hence you will gain bf..

i went from 8% bf to 14% bf on a deca cycle. my strength gains were incredible ... i never dreamed i would be benching 6 plates. and my shirts dont fit me anymore. yeah that was my goal.. not to be lean but to be massive and strong.

you want to get lean muscle? go with primo next time and lose the dbol.
 
you could be misslead from the amount of water retention youd be carrying from the deca and testerone

are u using any A.Is?

how much deca and testerone are you using weekly?

also 10kg in 2 weeks? im telling you now only about 2kg of that IF LUCKY is muscle

ur most likely very prone to water retention, and by sounds of it you are


At Last someone said it ! i always get shot down when i tell people on here that about only 8lb of there 30lb gained is muscle - the rest is water etc (so when you lose 20lb after a cycle its only the crap) however people still try kill the scales every time and then get upset when they lok like a blob after 8 weeks !

try a little adex first of all, and your gonna need to cut back on the carbs/cals for now.

Agreed!.. Also u should go for more of a lean bulk cycle. Test + Tren + Beastrol ?
 
I think the solution in your case is fairly simple one: LEARN NUTRITION. If you dont know how many calories, fats, carbs, protein you are eating then everything else is not relevant, you will not succeed. The good news is this is fairly easy, there is ton of info available online, if you are interested in a nutrion manuals, look up Tom Venuto, he has some great ebooks on fat-loss, and muscle gain.
