No...but when they do get hit on it's usually under the influence of alcohol and completely insincere. thats why they have the defense mechanism. even the non hot girls have a defense mechanism depending on the environment

My husband said the same thing that is why he was never afraid to approach very attractive women as the pretty ones are usually alone. As you said, they get hit on by drunks and married men... So for him it was EASY.

Me, I wasn't really pretty in my teens/early 20's so I have no clue about that whole process. My own husband admitted after viewing a pic of me in my early 20's that he would not have given me the time of day.

No.. im a trainer/coach.

I have found online dating to be very hit and miss as far as attractiveness goes. Attractive women seem to be rare.... with overweight women to be the norm. No offense.. that just seems to be my experience. Although i finally did meet an extremely attractive 6' 0'' model/teacher that im currently dating... but only after a series of let downs.

Also... a lot of the online sites have fake profiles. If her picture seems to good to be true.. she's probably some south african dude trying to get your moneys.

P.S.. o yeah.. Bikinimom is 90% correct about men being visual creatures. I actually do read the profile ONLY if she passes the picture test. The profile has to show some kind of intelligence/wit.

But that is because you are obviously looking for more than just a hook-up. right?

I have looked at many men's pics and thought, "Good Lord, I hope he looks better in real time than in that pic." but went out with him anyway because I liked what he had to say in his profile and I enjoyed our pursuant conversations. What are the chances that A MAN would do that?

I did that often... And I don't take offense to it because that is just how men are wired.

Men value beauty and women value security. All else stems from this.
