Has anyone ever trained with a broken leg!?

I broke 5 bones in my left foot when I was 17, and after about a 3 week layoff, was able to get back to it. While I still had the cast on I was able to do leg extensions and curls...but it hurt. Post cast, it was about 2 months before I could squat and had to start light but the poundage came back quickly.

i've trained with a broken wrist with a cast on after about the third of it being broke. i had lost enough size in my arm i pulled the cast off the 4th week and started training hard after that. can't say i've done it with a broken leg tho

Bench press, chins, dips, seated over head press, tricep extensions, seated lateral raises. Those are the main things i would focus on.

Day 1 bench press, chins and dips.
Day 2 seated over head press, tricep extensions and seated lateral raises.
Twice a week.
You could throw in some supported rows if you have a high flat bench too.

Oh it's OK. You can all stop the panic. It was just a bit of food stuck to the nail.
