I think it's a couple of factors working against homie. 1)the fucking ridiculously draconian stance law enforcement has taken on drugs, 2)other party involved is affluent, and 3)The Blackness.

Anyway, the black guy should be charged with driving negligence and leaving the scene of an accident. The white girl should be charged with underage dui, wreckless driving, and manslaughter.

people want justice to be equal or biased (i'm sorry "favorable") when it suits them. Look at Jena 6. Let them go cuz they're poor & black. Screw fair and "equal". Saudi arrested for "terrorism"? Screw the trial, just hang him.

Sadly enough, where's the outcy when innocent people are put in jail. When justice fails. Like that guy last week. Where's HIS marches?

Hey Doofus. Pretty much all journalism is biased. You either believe Fox News is fair and balanced or you don't. Most reporters approach a subject knowing what side of the story they want to emphasize. If we agree with the reporter we call it objective. if we don't we claim it's biased...then we move on.

every case is radically different:

1) circumstances of the accident
2) funds of the defendants (fancy lawyers or not)
3) state it happened in (every state has different lawyers)
4) prior history of the accused (multiple dui's? felon?)
5) any lack of professional medical treatment

race is the least defining factor of the cace. But guess which fact liberal journalists love to focus on!! you got it. race issues sell newspapers!

some of the bodies got mixed up and it made national news.
anyway, he got 5 yrs in prison and he was stone sober.
as far as this case goes, white gal should face manslauther at the least.
