Going to Boston ....need help finding a club

I am going to Boston on friday and I was wondering what clubs are killer to go to. I am not too much into the the whole techno/industry thing...more into mellow shit like Diggable Planets and funky kind of hip hop. If you could post the best places to go and what they have to offer...or what makes them kick ass. Thanks in advance

Club.....try Landown St., it is right behind Fenway Park, they have a variety of clubs and bars. Avalon is a big house place (that's where the crowd will be, packed on Fridays cause its 19 plus, OK on Sat. though cause 21 plus). If you like the lighter house, more word songs with a house beat, try Roxy (Sat. night only, other nights suck). If you are looking to hit up some bars with a little dancing try Fanuel Hall area or the Alley. You ask anyone around for directions, these are all pretty popular places. Hope it helped.
