fwiw, I never thought he would pull a joke like this. I just hoped, because that seemed a better alternative than him being dead. I think a lot of others (not all, but at least some) were of the same mindset. Better a terrible cruel joke than a reality.

Yeah Shir, I agree with you and Nef, I guess I hoped it wasnt true but I kinda knew it was... I remember the one time we talked he had just broken up with neck brace and he wouldnt STFU about it and I had a prepaid phone and was running out of minutes, lol....

How many threads in the last year were there constant pages one upping who pops the most benzo's? "lolz @ 10mg, take that for a hangover" Fuck I was a junky last year and never bragged about any of that shit. When did it become "cool" to be hooked on meds just cus they're legal.

While everyone doesn't want to say it, I will. At his age and his history, he most likely died from either A: a overdose B: a cardiac problem

So before you keep pointing fingers about comments, think back if you were a daily instigator in a addicts life. Unknowingly or not, that's nothing better than being a co-dependent

point is that poboy perhaps took jokes to far on the internet but how could u not feel bad about his death ?

he didn't say that he didn't feel bad...he said that shrimp ain't ready for sainthood...and...if shrimp were here, i'm sure he'd give that a big ole' +1...he wore his heart and his flaws on his sleeve.

The death of a person is bigger than any possible quarrel contained within the confines of the internet, (short of full on identity theft). Ive had it out with many people on here before and if any of them died like this I would feel no differently than if one of my best internet bros died.
Think of it this way. If Shrimp was a coworker you didnt know that well but you knew he worked at your company, and sometimes you said hi or had small talk in the break room but thats it. How would you feel if he suddenly died? Even if you knew he had problems you would care that someone you knew on some level died. Thats human nature.
