First injection-piece of cake!

All the reading and following the advice on this board really paid off. First injection was a piece of cake! Many thanks to all the helpful people on the site and to 2thicks perfect injection procedures.

I did just what was suggested. I washed my hands and glute thoroughly with anti bacterial soap, then swabbed the area with alcohol. I let an alcohol swab sit on top of the vials while I got everything else ready. I drew .5cc of decca and .5 of EQ in the same dart with the 18g and then switched to the 23g. I then turned around, and just poked it in-no pain at all. It was a bit harder than I expected to push the plunger down, but it went in slowly. I pulled it out and swabbed it again with an alcohol swab, then put a bandaid on it and rubbed it for 5-6 min. I feel the same, some have reported a sence of euphoria, but I think that is all in their minds. Thanks again for all the great info EF!

carrera is right, i hate when my roomie gets to inject and i dont. but just to let u know ahead of time they all wont be that way. one time during a quad injection blood squirted out about 3 inches above my quad, my girl and myslef got a good laugh from that.

I also had my first stick this week (been quite a while) and it was a breeze also. Like you stated, 2Thicks pics and Instructions helped me out tremendously!

Hopefully we won't see any Blood like kc21 mentioned anytime soon!

Yea, I should probably give a big Thank you to 2Thick for his injection procedure site. It was a great help and although I pretty much knew what I was supposed to do via asking people, it was cool to have it in front of me as I was doing it.

I have a love hate relationship with injecting. I love doing it but the idea of injecting into a blood vessel scares the shit out of me. It only takes one time and then game over. Always aspirate! And get someone else to do it for you, if you can't quite see/reach. I get my younger sister to do it for me! (She's 16!)
