Does flax seed oil need to be refrigerated??

i read through some posts on the board that it needs to be refrigerated after opening but i don't remember seeing anything about it on my bottle....

It spoils fast. You gotta refrigerate it after opening. Most bottles do say that. Maybe yours doesn't.

it needs to be refridgerated and it is light sensitive.

Keep it in the FREEZER... not the refridgerator. It still pours well when kept in the freezer. It goes rancid lightning quikly. You cannot smell or taste the difference when it has gone bad.

I bought my flax oil this afternoon.. all it says is keep in a cool dry place.. doesn't say refrigerate it.. i opened it about 1pm and now i just stuck it in the fridge just now...... do u think its gone bad??
