Take a close look at the spring itself, where it connects into one of the cylinders. Notice one side of the spring is straighter overall. I believe thats the dog leg. You may have to turn the gripper at different angles to see it. Hope that helps

Its not the easiest thing to spot. I may even be hallucenating! haha Im sure Debaser could help you with it.

Trust me, it's there Look at the handle where the coil attaches. That inch or so. One side should have a slight curve to it, and the other side is straight going into the handle. You're looking at Ironmind Captains of Crush grippers right?

This is funny stuff, I also kept wondering if I was hallucinating. I think I've got it now, though. If I hold a ruler against that inch or so of steel coming out of the handles, one side starts to curve at about 23mm and the other at 19mm. But it's so subtle!
