Can Ya'll Flame Me to get Me Back on My Diet? Seriously lacking motivation...

Man, I have been dieting and watching what I eat for about 9 months straight now. And man, I am sick of it. I am sick of not getting to eat ice cream, or chips and dip(especially those tostitos with a hint of lime and my wife's homemade picante sauce) not getting to eat any kinds of desert plus eating all this diet shit. Now I had good results went from 28% bodyfat to about 9% at best now I I think I am up to about 12% because I have been MUNCHING. I can't help it I am just sick of dieting.

But the other side of the coin is I don't want to get heavy again especially during the summer. I like looking the way I do so I need ya'll to motivate me to get back on eating clean again instead of eating all this delicious crap that is bad for me. Oh I am also off cycle now and I quit smoking so I don't even have that going for me to help me stay lean.
 
Just throw in some cardio as a safety net if you eat too much. You will burn out and go nuts if you watch every little thing you eat. If you eat some pizza and feel guilty, do some cardio the next morning or lower cals the next day.
 
man, youve accomplished a lot, you should be quite proud of yourself. You know howmany people will never quit smoking, let alone drop that much body fat?! It sounds like you just needed a break and to vent a little. like KD says, dont make yourself nuts. Im sure that no matter what youll never allow yourself to get back to the way you were.

Do you have any old pics of yourself when you had all that extra fat? If so, print some out or copy them and post them all over the place: refrigerator door, tape one to the bag of lime flavored chips, on the bathroom mirror, to your computer screen at work. It may sound weird, but man, it works.

Then, try to visualize how you felt when you were out of shape: Less energy, lack of self esteem, etc. You should also realize how far you have come, and recognize that it's easier to keep off the excess weight than it is to lose it in the first place. So you have accomplished the hard part...feel good about it!

Frank that is a good idea too. Boy that would freak out my guest and visitors when they go to get a chip and see my old fass mug sitting there looking at me before I get a chip. Really good idea I like it.
 
hey =w=, i love weezer too. I quit smoking about three years ago, my strength in the last few years has increased dramacally also. i also lost a considerable amount of fat, but i have a ways to go on that around the gut area. Im in the same dieting boat as you. I just started atkins today, im going to MAKE myself do it. Ive had massive dieting problems over the years but now ive decided, mind over matter, i have to do it.

PS., i bet old shirtless pictures will help you, i should dig some up myself (or just take some now!)

Sounds good bro. Just eat clean and small meals and the carbs after 2pm you will get there in no time. I think building muscle is the best way to get leaner. But cardio does help I just hate it alot.

Have you tried any south of the border fat burners like clen or t3?
