Don't you hate when you can't find a spot and have to quit!
I had a hard leg work-out today boy! I actually have never done it, but today I went till failure on the leg press pushing 630 full range. The thing actually came crashing down, of course not squishing me because of the safety and my flexibility. My trainer was proud though. The other girl competing was right there and saw it all. Guys were coming up and making comments between that and my calf raises and I could see her face out of the corner of my eye the whole time. I think this is going to be hard on her. Ayeye... In the end I'm still competing and everyone else can just suck it up if they don't push themselves like we do!

Yeah I just get sick of trying to always please others, and this is one thing I'm doing for myself... and I guess if they can't hang they can't hang. I get to hear about everyone's insecurities all the time, rather then just being fortunate that they are alive and doing what makes them happy.

***While cleaning I broke two nails which HURT like a beyotch. Went to a bday party at the bar in my condo complex (it's really huge) ... Dave Mathews cover band that was outstanding. I feel like I'm going to puke b/c I smell like an ashtray...every which direction someone was smoking, blowing it my way ... ick. Some older man was smiling at me & eventually I'm like Hi can I help you. I think he even asked me for a cigar or something WTF?! I am VERY friendly & outgoing & can work a room but I wasn't really into being Miss Social Butterfly. He asked me if I'm a swimmer... lol...I told him I lift heavy weights...and i lift them daily...nice to meet ya but I'm with my party ... Drank about 8 bottles of water and one Diet Coke ... it was great to hang out with some old friends & see some famililar faces that haven't SEEN me in a long time.... felt good to get out, but the scene I don't miss that much. I did alot of people watching though, which can be fun :) & unfun :) Oh, and the typical "come on you can drink..." from the alkies... the others respected my choice & were ecstatic I showed up. I did feel 'big' compared to average woman, but I am by far not average...I only have myself to blame for standing out, 6' , fro-ee red curls, and my razor back tank lol (it was HOT in there) & my 'swimmer' figure ...my back & arms must have made a statement. lol

Hey Peeper ... I posted this in "moron's" but thought I'd retell it here :)

Well not sure if I'm a moron but I'm telling you guys anyway b/c I think it's funny ... Today was leg day at the gym.

I don't wear shorts really ever and try to stay somewhat covered (it depends). SO I wear a pair of tight pants with a comfy loose pair over them, Zipper side on the bottom so they're not tapered.

Set up to do a few warm up reps with the bar & squatted to the floor. I had my IPOD on I guess a little to loud b/c the first few warm ups I could feel a seam splitting ... I turned off the IPOD, squated again and could HEAR the seams pop some more ... and so could anyone in my vacinity for that matter. I re-racked the bar & decided the top layer must come off, so I pulled my pants down and stomped 'em off.

When I turned around, lol, I think the guy behind me with his mouth open realized I DID have pants on underneath and kinda shook his head (as in 'to snap out of it') and finished his rows... I did have my personal best leg day today though :D

Oh, finally...I've read about the studies showing increased water intake reduces fat deposits, and I'm assuming that is why you are drinking so much. If you have more reasons that I'm not thinking of, let me know! :D

I try to keep my body & 'toxins', as well as the kids, flushed and gradually worked my way up to where I am now. :)

It has to do with one of our old PM's ... Think really hard and it might make a little more sense ;)

Anyway I love water :) and I never leave home without it. My bottles are 1.5 L so it's ^^ past week or so. ALSO, if Im hungry I pound water ... helps keep the appetite a LITTLE under control & not hungry since I'm cutting, NOT cheating (maybe a steak, no big cheats PERIOD) oh, & not drinking ... :jarswim:
