ok, i am with him up until he says go in the SF program (18X). do not do that. why? the overwhelming majority of those who do, do not make it. what happens when they don't? they get reclass'ed to the needs of the army (water purification specialist, fueler, truck driver, etc).

the army cleans up on that program. they put out all sorts of video games and videos aimed at 18-21 crowd making SF look like a fucking cake walk. then all of these fuckers enlist under that option and end up hating life.

you can be ANY MOS in the army and be able to go to SFAS. you don't have to go in as 11X or 18X to go SF. trust me.

yea to piggy back on what pick3 said , dont waste your time (by waste i mean get something out of the military) by goin army, go air force or go navy, get some good training that you can use when you get out. artilary is cool ,but how will that benefit you when you get out....it wont you will be no better off than you are now.

also if you have a degree then go Officer,fuck enlisted. trust me.
