I wonder how many media idiots have uttered "At this rate he is going to hit 324 HR's this year."

I do know if Reggie Sanders and Jeff Kent stay healthy and hit that he will get his for sure. Of course Kent needs to stay off of the motorcycles and acting like Tom Cruise.

Their pitching staff will be decent especially if Livan Hernandez can return to form. Still gotta get past the D'Backs though and I don't see that happening.

Ditto. Except the prick part. I do not know him personally so I don't know if he is a prick or not. The guys I have talked to that know him (NOT MEDIA GUYS) have never said he was a prick.

I don't look to Barry Bonds as a role model. Darryl Strawberry is hands down my favorite ballplayer of all time. I don't take drugs, cheat on my wife or go to hookers. People worried about Barry Bonds' demeanor have too much time on their hands.

I think it goes back to what Barkely said a few years ago "I am not a role model. The kids' parents should be their role models."

So what if an athlete doesn't give you a fucking ball or sign your hat, ball, shirt, left tit, etc........ they can't signn everyones and they can't give everyone a ball. No matter how many times they sign there will always be someone that didn't get an autograph.

Yeah, that's one of the reasons I'm kind of excited about this year. Not because I think he's a phenomenal player, but he's the biggest name we've had in quite a while.

I'm more excited about them keeping Sweeney, if everyone approves that deal.

What's the story with this guy? Is he any good? I heard a little about him last year, but I don't remember anything about him.

I find it hard to believe that a new pitching coach will solve the Royals woes.
