Actually the AMA wanted to keep steroids legal and the main reason for the criminalization is that there are no taxes being paid on medications that are bought abroad. THAT, is the crime.

Have you ever heard of signing statements? Bush uses these to interpret laws any way he chooses. He uses them to bypass Congress, and all you have to do is declare a national emergency, and as President you can do whatever you want. Haven't you seen Bush and Cheney do what ever it is they want and claim executive priviledge, whenever they get in trouble?

Do you think FDRoosevelt asked permission in that national emergency in his day? No he just did it. He confiscated all the Gold from everyone in this entire country.

He implemented Communism for awhile.

Same way Bush and Cheney are implementing Fascism.

The checks and balances system doesn't hold like it used to.
