The size envy never ends - unless you are Ronnie Coleman. When you are 230 you will wish you were 260. When you're 260 you'll wish you were Mr. Olympia. It's the madness that's keeps you in the gym.

Don't worry too much

I know the feeling you are having now when I first started training I felt extremely small in my gym. I started lifting with my oder brother who was an all conference offensive lineman and weight in at around 265 lbs. His friends were all about the same size and being 2-3 years younger I was much smaller and weaker than any of them. Now that I am older and have been lifting for a while I see the value of being able to chase the bigger guys in the gym because the give you a goal to shoot for. The most important thing though is to now get focused totally on the other guy make sure that when you are in the gym that you are focusing on what you are doing and the gains you are making.

Also man props on the gains you have already made. Those kind of gains say that if you just keep up the hard work and eat alot that you can keep filling out your frame. I would suggest waiting a while before adding and AS to your training so that your body can maximise its own potential before outside help is sought. So keep up the good work and one day you will look around and see the other guys trying to catch up to you.

Cheers,
Scotsman

Dude, we've all been there at one time or another. I'm 6'1"/230 and I still feel small compared to some guys. Just keep working your ass off. Peace.

I am the biggest baddest MOFO in my gym!!!!!

But then again I work out in my garage!

HAHA!

Naaaaa It should be an inspiration...... "I gotto get that one last rep":splat:

Thats perfect motovation i work out with some smart ass that USED TO BE stronger than me but while he was being a smart ass thinking he was the shit i worked my ass off to put him in his place and now i can get atleast 10 more pounds on every lift we do.

That is the best motivation. My gym used to be like that, then they ran off all the really big monsters. Now most of the people are either fatass women, scrawny boys, one's with senior citizen's discounts. The owner likes the type of member that signs a two year contract and goes the first month only. Went to the YMCA, talk about Ambercrumblie, I was doing shoulders, grunted load and the whole place was staring at me. Was surrounded by a bunch of whoosies. Never went back. Thrive on it, watch them and learn.

My gym is like that !use that energy to supercharge your workouts. RADAR

LOL...That's fucking funny.

Seroiusly, I felt the same way when I joined my gym, but after a few months and being seen there everyday, they no longer seemed like monsters.

I now train at 3 different gyms...

At the university gyms - I (with my 15.5 inch arms) am a monster!!! "RRRRoooooar!!!!"

At the proper 'monster' gym - I am the 'ahtletic type.'

It means you joined the right gym. You could've joined one where you're the biggest, but that would mean the DB's would probably only go up to 75lbs. (half of them being chrome or green foam rubber), fruity ass abercrombie & fitch dudes lurking in the locker room, 2 miles of cardio equipment, and fat chicks everywhere.

shit, i guess 5 years ago i joined the wrong gym
