That's the thing. 50 CAN rhyme.....he was pretty dope back in 1999. Not amazing, but he had a good flow and decent lyrics. His mixtape era (before he blew up) was good too. Once he got the big deal and had to sell records, of course all his shit got dumbed down

but you see it all the time now. It's not even about rhyming, just throw a bunch of crap with a catchy beat and hook and sell records.

look at cam'ron, 50, etc. all those dudes were really good when they cared about the music and most people don't even know it. (listen to cam'ron when he used to rhyme with Big L and tell me he ain't sick)
now they're on some sesame street rhyming.
