Incidentally, the guy in the bottom right is Roy Callender. One of the most overlooked and underrated bodybuilders of all time. Awesome.

To my understanding didnt these old timers do mostly short cycles with Dbol only? I dont even think test was available until a few years after right?

First off, that's 5'4" Danny Padilla on the upper left.

By 82, test was available but considered the "harshest' of all steroids. The Decca/Dball combo was very popular and the beginning of lots of gynecomastia. A few years later it was Dan Duchaine who theorized taking Nolvaldex - tamoxifen citrate - was a good way to circumvent this. (Very clever man). Later in life he admitted although it was a good theory, Nolva was a lousy drug with too many side effects. To this day too many people still use it when in 99% of the cases where it's used, it's useless.

Dan Duchaine was ahead of the times imo.... I remember buying the anabolic reference guide when I was 16... Yes, I said 16 please keep the flames minimal... My natty test is still good, I did not stunt my growth cuz Im 6'0. Back in the day I believe I got some 5mg primo tabs and took 2 a day.

Hmm seems to be common that a lot of guys started with light oral cycles. How did that primo work out for you that you took?
