Tell me something they call a sport that you feel is not a sport.

Had a discussion this morning with a bro bout hunting. He said it was the greatest sport out there. I said why because it does not require your fat ass to run or jump or do anything athletic. I say hunting is not a sport. Train animals to use gunz and supply them with ammo, then the shit becomes a sport. Don't be mislead I hunt, I like to hunt, I love to eat deer, but climbing a tree and busting a cap in an animals ass from 200 yards away does not = sport, in anyway.

NASCAR Racing is not a fucking sport, nor is the Tour de Fag, I meant France. Let me hear what you peeps have to say.

I wasn't sure bout cheerleading. However, the thing is there are competitions, thus the the act of competition would make it a sport. I don't like NeckCar, however, it's alot more strenuous then I thought, the extreme speeds put enormous amounts of gpressure.


SB, the Tour has those guys bike 115 a day, for 21 days. They take EPO, HGH, and Gear just to compete. oh I forgot the d-amphetamine combo that comes into play, via squirt bottle. I don't follow it, but U are not pushing, quite literally, the human limits for endurance and will more than that.

I don't follow either, but yeah... U may have an argument, that Nascar is not the same since the mechanical comes into play, still... it is competitive.

I think anything you have to physically train for to perform is a sport. Even darts, where it is only hand/eye coordination is a sport to me. Of course the Tour de France is a sport, it is a cycling race. Even NASCAR drivers have to be in decent physical shape and train on a regular basis. So do golfers.

Stuff like poker, no.

But there is also a difference between recreational and competitive sport IMO. Hunting can be either, it is just most people make it recreational.

Bike racing is pretty fucking intense. I would for sure say it's a sport.

I agree with the atletic component defining a sport. NASCAR is strenous but it's not a sport until I see a dude wreck and then get out of his car and start running with the pack. Hunting is absolutely not a sport and anyone who say's it is should be released into the wild but nekkid and forced to run through the bush with 600ft/sec paintballs whizzing past him...now we're talking.

The one that irritates me the most though is that ice shuffleboard they play in the winter olympics...forget the name of it but it almost sent me into a cussing fit everytime I walked by it being played at the gym. Imagine the greatest olympic athletes from greek times watching this childrens game being mentioned in the same breath as what they did. Rubbish. How is that an olympic sport yet american football, ie real football, isn't?

The tour de france will only be a sport in my opinion when the cyclist have to duck and dodge sniper fire from the mountian ranges. Then out running teh rest of the bycyclist will have a true meaning, and I bet the fuckers won't be riding in packs nomore.
