tendonitis and lifting

I have worked online all my life and I got hand palm tendonitis from the mouse, I will start lifting soon for first time ever to gain mass and define my body, I wonder if having this tendonitis issue can get worst lifting weights? what type of gear protections do you recommend? thank you.

Weight training will actually help your tendonitis because it'll strengthen the small muscles in your hands/wrists. Just make sure to not use straps, gloves or anything like that.

If your hands get sweaty, you can use gym chalk or liquid chalk.

Tendonitis is largely an inflammation issue. Supplementing with a good quality fish oil and a good joint supplement will help. The fish oil you can pick up for cheap at Costco. One of the sponsors of the board n2bm.com makes a really good joint supplement called n2joint Rx. Check that out.
