I still have a working NES Final Fantasy.

I have a friend (a chick... those who follow my threads started calling her the meth dealers girlfriend) who collects old NES games and plays them alot.

New School: Castlevania:Lament of Innocence, and Grand Theft Auto:Vice City.

i would go with zelda 2 for NES, disc world 2 for PS1 and the PC

new school - grand theft auto (the first one... GOURANGA!!!!!!!!!!!)

though today there are a lot of great games out

ie; splinter cell series, theif 3, morrowind, unreal series, etc

Old school favorites: Adventure (Atari2600), Bards Tale III, Airborne Ranger, and Pirates! (C64)

New school: Soul Calibur (DC), Diablo II, Civilizaion III, and MS Flight Simulator (PC), Halo (Xbox)

Old: Pirates on both c-64 and amiga 500, I also have fond memories of Panza kickboxing. And of course the monkey Island series, quest for glory I, police quest I & 2, Loom. the list is endless. They don't make em as they used to.

New: Civilization 3 and Knights of the old republic. New games as good as old
