It's not easy. We work our ass's off in the gym, spend our time and our hard earned money all year round. I'd like to know your MAIN REASON as to why You think it's all worth it. The hard work pays off in more than one way but tell me what you love most about your results!!
:)

For me the best part about it is the respect and attention i get from others. This has changed my life in many ways.

The edge braaa

Because Im try to take as many steroids as I can so I can get into the wwf or tna and maybe...just maybe I will end up looking like Bill Goldberg. This is my dream this is my destiny.

Training and dieting is my fix, my herion....Some people have family, religion, sports.....the iron is my utopia, there's NOTHING as challenging, or as mentally stimulating....and I wanna be great...

I started out with bodybuilding for health, and being more attractive to girls. (Come to think of it, I still do).

Over the years it became my hobby, my sport, my therapy, my fascination, my passion and my profession.

It helped me release alot of pent up childhood anger cause I couldnt get a Super Nintendo. I do it cause I like the look on a girls face as i walk in a room and her man knowing that she's checking me out.

I do it for the snatch, accomplishment (comes from hard work [hard work=pays off]), and as one elite bro stated, I do it to have the edge.

We should be asking the rest of God awful lazy society, "Why DON'T you do it?"

Anger and Stress Management First and Foremost.

Secondly, to make my physically demanding job easier.

Last would be vanity.

It's not a hobby, or a pastime to me, it's an obsession, I never weight trained or dieted for health purposes.
I love getting in shape, and tanned-up drawing attention to myself. Once you get all the attention you never
want it to quit. It's like smoking crack one hit and your hooked!

I thought I posted already, but, I love feeling the awesomeness of being strong. Knowing I am stronger than the other option (couch sitting lazy asshole) that people choose.
Sure, the pride is there, as I love the look of being in shape. and yeah, girls notice...

love when that happens bro. If a hot chick is with a skinny wuss, I purposely talk to her to intimidate him

when I first started years ago, this is why. The girls would ask me, after my intitial 20 lb gain, "why do you wanna be big, not that we don't like it."
I replied, "Well, it's like this, to the point. I figured if I can gain at least 20 lbs or more and keep it, then my DICK won't look so D*mn BIG!" :)
Of course they laughed.

Then I showed them.

then I got laid.

to be healthy.. not necessarily live a long time, but live as healthy as possible while I am alive. so i can look at myself in the mirror and like what i see (self image, esteem, etc)

to impress my gf, friends, family, etc.

to be strong and show off in front of bigger guys at the gym who i am way stronger then (not rubbing it in their face but just representing the tweeners who aren't 6 feet tall) its nice being strong in general, to be able to lift almost twice your bodyweight is an advantage.

so people dont F with me in general or think twice.. i wont bother you if you dont bother me, but if the day comes i have to defend myself i want to know i am stronger then you even if you weigh more..

to get what i want from women.. lets face the facts boys.. as much as women dont want to admit it in those stupid magazines its in their DNA they will go after men who can protect them and who are strong. its part of evolution.. this is the #1 thing women want.. money isn't as important as people make it out to be (unless you are in LA i guess)

Like It!

I do it because It's an individual sport. YOu are completely respondsible for your own success. If you do it and learn you will succeed.
Being a member of the chosen few who complete is exciting and being of my age group I look around me and shutter at looking like most men my age. It's good to hear from people that they are shocked at my age. Most think I look forty so it's a great compliment.

To take my body to the next level, sense of competition with myself and others on an individual sport basis, mentality of it, selfish yet satisfying....

Just cuz I like it. Just simple lifting bigger and bigger weights, I like that feeling.
