new to this put just had blood work and test level is 187. I'm 54 270 6'1. i have been lifting for last 2 years but am now recovering from rotator surgery (10/06) so just now working my weights up. I have decided to go to cenergenics for hrt therphy. I know they will give me lots of supplements but if I get HGH and test will I have to be injecting myself with several different needles several times a day. One or two shots a week maybe I can handle but not sure i could do every day stuff. any one have a idea of what i'm in for? My goals for hrt are simple lift my weight 10x's, get to 20 % bodyfat ( now 32% ) and be able to have sex twice in the same night. Any ideas ??? :chomp: :mix:

I am a client of Dr Life at Cenegenics. You will probably be doing 1 shot of growth per day and 1 shot of test per week. Those guys are very good and keep a VERY close eye on your labs so you do not abuse.

thanks how long have you been doing it and how are your results

I started at the end of May and my results have been great. Keep in mind that this is no quick fix, you still need to eat clean and workout on a consistant basis. If you follow the program as prescribed, I think you will be very pleased.

could you please give some details ? age weight have you lost weight ? energy

Age 45. Weight 182 , waist 36, body fat 33% this was as of May Today being Sept 5, 2006 My weight is 169, waist 32 and body fat unknown, due to the fact I have not had it checked. Energy and strength are GREAT! I went into this very sceptical, being a life long weight trainer and fairly educated on nutrition, but, as I said before, the program works, if you stick to it.

Hello sdever, I see you had rotator cuff surgery back in October of last year. That's almost a full year ago. I too am slated to have shoulder surgery. I have some torn cartilage in my shoulder. A couple of questions:

>my doctor told me that my bad arm will be out of commission for something like 8 weeks. He said that I wouldn't be able to lift a little quart of milk for 8 weeks. Did you find that to be true?

>how long after your surgery in October of 2006 did you have to wait before you could start lifting weights again?

>sd...does that mean you're in San Diego? If so, who was your surgeon? I live in San Diego. :jarswim:

I had a full tear in my rotator cuff and also a tear in the labra
I started physical theraphy 1 week after surgery which was mostly streaching
started lifting at PT 1 and 3 lbs wieghts at end of first month
wasn't able to drive my stick shift car until 4th week and even then getting the reach into 5th gear was difficult
started lifting light 25lb dumbbells at three months
today i'm at 80% range of motion with a few painfull spots as i move
doing bench press of 120 with a bar and 50 with dumbbells i could do more but each time i move up it get sore so i'm going for slow, prior to operation i was at 210 bar and 85 dumbbells thats for a workout 3 reps of 12 not a max lift
I didn't sleep for first 3 days after surgery but after that no major problems
my doc said it would be a year of healing before i would be as normal as i will get
all in all not as bad as i expected but i was religious in my PT and my streching exercises and for a 54 year old i had decent muscle tone going in
any other questions let me know
