Toyota, on track to beat General Motors

Whoa............I sell cars for a living (GM)......and GM makes a great car....

Compare the Impala to the Camry SIX Cylinder

Impala gets 30 miles plus per gallon starts at 22,300 with a 3/36 bumper to bumper and 5/100,000 miles roadside assistance and powertrain warranty.....minus the rebates at about 1500 bucks and the markup at about 1500 bucks you can get a GM for about $19,000; V6, remote car starter (LT1), complimentary OnStar seating for six......the list goes on why GM is better.....sorry!

People care more about their own pocketbooks, while they fill the pocketbooks others.

Thats what people are thought, to care only for themselves....cuz if they cared about the collective, then we would be same as communism or socialism and thats scary

I'm considering trading in my Toyota for an Impala or the redesigned Malibu :)

Just can't control myself......my first two cars were Chevettes and every once in awhile the Chevy bow-tie gets me misty-eyed.

My first vehicle was a Blazer, worst POS ever. Toast at 124,000 miles, started having multiple problems at the 50,000 mile mark and never stopped.

When I first came to the States I was all for buying european or japanese. I thought american cars (NOT TRUCKS) are sluggish and ugly and not reliable. I got a Jetta....thinking german made, great! Well, its made in Mexico and I did have a problem with it burning oil and the engine light was on after 2 and a half years. So, why should I buy a Jetta, for example, instead of Ford 500, lets say? Both are assembled in Mexico.

That said....coming from a foreigner....I would never ever lease or buy foreign! Seeing what kind of effect all this has on the families around me, I am deciding to support the american assembled vehicles.

And Manny....c'mon, man, you were comparing a Lexus with a Crown Victoria? Jesus Christ, every car has its category. Why dont you compare it with a Caddy or Lincoln?

And I would so agree with Gambino - the rest of the auto industry has still to accomplish the level of the american made trucks and SUVs.

Europe has a moto "Buy European". Even my own small old little country has a moto "Buy made in Macedonia". I guess I care more about this country than everyone else that is born here. BUY American!

Where did I compare a Lexus with a Crown Vic ? Please show me the quote. I said the Crown Vic was superior to GM garbage but our most reliable cars in the fleet were Toyota and Lexus. Btw a Lexus is just a rebadged Toyota...lol

Why fuck with perfection?

Marketing bs. Cause apparently North Americans wouldnt buy a high end Toyota, Honda or Nissan so they created just for us, Lexus, Acura and Infiniti.... lol
