yeah, i don't see this either. I see a lot of bashing and shitbag comments about people, but it doesn't seem to always be males bashing females. I tend to see males bashing other males more often simply because there are more males here.
 
Problem with an anonymous atmosphere is people can criticize others for their own insecurities. Much like highschool chat rooms often become juvenile and cliquish as the handjobs of the world unite to bash the things they fear. I basically ignore as much of the stupidity as possible, and refrain from posting in lots of threads to avoid getting dragged down with the lowest common denominator.

I didnt pinpoint you lessy... YOU for one i know i've never had an issue with any debate female or male. but there are quite a few that accept things if you are male but bash you and call you a slut if you are female.

ARE WE NOT all adults here? Fuck... I love this place, i've met alot of friends, i've learned so much... but there are a few that ruin the entire experience for all fo this with their 'im better than you attituted'

Back in the day when it meant something to be an elite mod I was asked (and did so happily) to moderate and help FEMALE MEMBERS FEEL WELCOME AND PROTECTED PERIOD. GSpellwin himself sent me the email and it was worded something like that, but that was the idea.

Ironically enough I believe that I have been bashed more than any other member in elite history male or female.... but I am still here and the bast majority of those peeps aren't. I don't post up in the women's forum anymore for a few reasons but one of them is I simply got tired and worn down. Too much investment and too little return. Lobo is hardly even a memory anywhere, let alone on the women's forum. I suppose times change. People dont. It is just the way the rules that have changed so more negativity is allowed simply because there is more traffik.

I have said it time and time again. I suppose it is the price that one pays for progress. This is and has been for some time now a board that is driven by profit so I suppose that one can not fault administration for the choices that they make. They are here to make money - end of story. There are more males so we have to take the good with the bad. Double standard? Undoubtedly. We've come along way I suppose..... or have we?

I have in my past learned to just let A be A and B be B, I don't condone certain things, and never will... but I've learned to just agree to disagree. Totally true for SOME, but ya know, when I have that door opened for me at the car, I reach over and open his door... I am alone alot and I PROTECT MY FAMILY. Just yesterday, I took my beau out for lunch and I PAID. I ask for equality but I hold my end up. I do his laundry, and helps do mine. I have no reason to complain 'in the real world' I've always and will always pull my own weight. Most of the times I am told that I want to be way too independant, and I don't lose sleep over internet morons that degrade women that are doing 50% less bullshit than they are doing, but I believe it is slowly but surely pushing away female members.
