I'm not good with that stuff, other than just using the Brighter/Darker which you can do in any pic s/w (even ms Paint) -

people who are into photography could probably help you here

Dark is one thing, light is another. I've opened photoshop a time or two.

Lightening is easy; darkening to add color is nigh impossible.

i used to think that too but someone on here once took a picture that was so dark you couldn't see the people's faces and made the faces perfectly visible.

Yeah bro, Jestro and DT are right. overexposure is totally diff than underexposure. I just checked the pics out and darkened them, and in the white areas there is absolutely nothing there to even try to work with.
