okay at Meal 3 i been consuming about 1lb of grilled chicken breast............thats like a shitload of protein im assuming about 100-120
anyway i dunno its amazing i can stomach that much protein:/ i dunno what to do? should i leave this since it still adds up with my total protein intake of the day about 250grams?

Dude, I love eating whole chickens... really. I like seeing what used to fly, cooked and on my plate, and rip it apart with the bones. Very nice, especially w/ the skin.

Your body will still absorb most of the protein, but a lot of it will undergo oxidation/gluconeogenesis and be used as carbs or stored as fat. Some of it will be excreted in pee and poop. It's a waste of protein. Dividing it into more meals will increase the chance that your body will actually use the protein AS PROTEIN instead of expensive carbs and sewage.

dang but i have been eating 1lb at meal 3,with ginger root and papaya for digestive enzymes, maybe il cut the serving to 6oz or somethin:/

1lb is really not that much.
I've killed 2lbs of brisket and i was still hungry. if your worried about not being able to digest or use all that protein then u should take some Ginger root.

I am worried about it turning to fat or carb storage since i am leaning i take 2ginger roots before i eat the 1lb and than papaya and been doing this past 6weeks..........i dunno i just thought it effect me losing fat.......1lb of grilled chicken breast is like 100gram protein at a sitting?

meal 1protein has 22
meal 2protein has 44
meal 3protein thats the 1lb grilled chicken breast
meal 4protein has about 50protein
meal 5protein has about 20-25
meal 6protein same as meal 5

and i am like 160ish,,,,,,carbs for the day are 60-100depends on the training day

any suggestions?

hmm i replaced meal3 1lb of grilled chicken breast with 1cup lowfat cottage cheese i can purchase at the store and there is a gnc so i get the metrx protein shake 35protein

so about 70protein which is better than 1lb of grilled chicken breast:/;)

In my experience and from what I have read, diets extremely high in protein generally lead to weight-loss because the body excretes some of the protein (see MS's reply). I'm not sure about the effects of the digestive enzymes. It seems like digestion is not the bottle-neck when the body is "deciding" whether or not to excrete protein or absorb it in some way (oxidation/gluconeogenesis or assimilation). I think there is a limit to how much oxidation/gluconeogenesis can happen all at once, so you should not worry about all of it turning to excess carbs. I might also matter how slowly it digested (slower = more gluconeogenesis?). This would mean that the digestive enzymes may in one way prevent too much gluconeogenesis.

oh thank goodness cause that protein shake sucked, and left me feeling sore, them 1lb of grilled chicken breast are good:) i mean i was eating it for past 6weeks,hasn;t effected me dropping waist size,or toning up,if anything made me get through my day
