Reduce everyone's k to 1 point for each day they've been a member, 2 pts for each day as plat, then make each k hit worth 1 point for non plats, 2 for plats and be done with it.
It only got this out of hand because most here think it's some ticket to popularity for some odd reason. If GS and his staff have to continuously monitor the ever increasing karma levels and add features to accomodate levels that weren't even thought about why not charge for it? Something needs to be donw about it as most here seem consumed over these dumbass little dots.
Again, if they would have been used how they were intended, it wouldn't have come to this
I help a lot of people on this board who come to me for advice.
What do I get out of it? Nothing.
I come to Elite to send karma to my friends etc. To gamble with it too.
Everyone I talk to here are also on other boards that are free.
GS just changed the one thing that made this board fun.
I own my own business and work my ass off for what I have. I am constantly trying to trim the fat to keep my expenses at a minimum.
I am having second thoughts about being a Platinum member here. Whats the point now? The fun has been taken away from this site.
There is absolutely nothing that this site offers to distinguish it from a free site now.
This is a bad business decision that was made to please the people who don't support this web site.
The easiest way, since I've forgotten the direct link, is to go to buy Karma from the store. It'll ask for your member name and password which should take you to your member page.
