I stopped using Eq about Feb. Just because I ran out and didn't order more. Fast Forward.
A month ago my gf signed me up to run a 10k with her at Disney. HUH?? yeah okay, so I started running. I hadn't run in two years or even trained in 2 months due to injury. So while she was running 4 miles and I was running 1. I got up to 3 miles but was gasping for air and near death most of the way. Note: One of the things that I have a hard time with is getting up and running at 4:30am. Anyway, 3 weeks ago, in preparation for this I started Eq again (500mg/wk). This morning it kicked in. I ran 4 miles with her and could have done it again. I was like, OMFG, where has THIS been???
For those who don't know what I'm talking about, Eq dramatically increases RBC. So I was able to not only run but hold a normal conversation doing it.
I will come down to 300mg/wk in a couple weeks but I can't imagine ever coming off again.
