I hit 229.0 lbs the other night.

I don't care it wasn't in the morning... It's good to see an almost 230lb mark.

4-5 on average.

On a good 8 meal day 6k easy.

I haven't fitday'd in a LONG time. I'll have to find some time and make it a point to add some custom foods there and see what i'm getting in exactly for reference to tweak when needed.... good call bringing that up.

Are yiou serious bro? training 5x a week and zilch for cardio eh? You must have some incred genetics! Where is your bf? 13ish right?

hey, i do cardio.

10 minutes at a time, lol.

I only lift 4x a week, btw.

My training is fast paced though... i only rest for long periods when I can't breathe... I'm realizing that's hurting my strength so I try and take walks around the gym when I notice during workouts.

Probably #% or so (Numbers are relative, what's 13, or 17 or 5% on me, won't be the same on you or anyone else... so i'm not even going to go there), yeah it's not bad... but it's been better, and it's been much worst.

I'm ok with where I'm at regarding that right now. Building more musckles and getting stronger is what i need to do. No worries about "beach bod" in this weather.

You can't eat 5-6k consistently and not reach 230, in the morning, empty stomach, soon enough. Get ready to set that bar even higher bro. Glad to see your back is getting its act together too.

Week 8 Day 5 - last day of training for this training week, 1st week back complete. Feelin' good.

Monday

Front Squats: Barx10, 95x10, 115x8, 135x...*
*after the 115 set, my lower back was feeling it, layed down for a few.

over/over grip, chalk last set

Dead lifts: 135x5, 185x8, 225x5, 275x1,5*
*felt like a max lift, belted up got my chalk and went back and pulled the shit out of it for a full set. fuck you bitch. Sad, sad numbers... I'm down 100lbs... In 2 weeks, i'll try it again pull 315+ hopefully now that my body knows I'm deadlifting again. stoopid thing doesn't want to cooperate, lol.

Decline Crunches: BW+5 for 3 sets of 8, using a 10lb plate next time, yay!

*my back was killing me, took long ass laying down breaks throughout DL's and kept the belt on for the rest of the workout to take some pressure off my erectors, I need to order a new belt ASAP... doesn't fit anymroe like it did at 170lbs. I felt like Chris Farley in fat guy in a little weight belt trying to crank it over just to get in the last prong holes, LOL*

Farmer Walks: 95's, 105's, 115's ... I always get the weirdest looks walking around, fuggin' mind ya business! ... though I think it's the cloud of chalk that was following me around the gym today that was annoying people :evil:

strapped for all. over/over until last set... over/under grip:
Barbell Shrugs: 135x10, 225x8, 275x8, 315x8, 365x8, 405x6

DB Shrugs: 100's for 10, 110's for 10, 115's for 15

7:15pm - 8:19pm

Quality workout, I wasn't happy with DL's but I felt I ended it well.... 2 days off. Then back to benching.

I'm thinking about going in for cardio on the off days... but we'll see how that pans out :p

Ever try stretching your hip flexors (Psoas and Rectus Femoris) between sets on DL?!
That position puts your pelvis in an anterior tilt and o.k. I just erased this and put I know instead of possibly, hip flexors are tight. If you sit all day and then go do those you need to be incorporating some hip flexor stretching.

I'm actually taking my DL's out for awhile because of this very issue. The psoas connects from the lumbar spine to the lesser trochanter on the leg. So if it's shortened your going to get low back pain as well since it pulls on the spine.
