Oh I agree, ATF is the way to go, but just getting older ATF took more of a toll. They are the best squat to do if you are able. Now I wait in line with the soccer moms to do the leg press. lol

I do the standard really and mix in a huge-ass drop set every few weeks.

BB Calves 4x10 (Heavy ass hell...people watch when I do this)
Seated calves 6x12 (2 in, 2 out, 2 middle)

My drop is nuts though:

Start really heavy. Something you barely get 10 with and just start stripping weight when you fail and keep going till you rep the bar for a vomit inducing 20. I make it like take like 6 "sets" till I get to the bar

DCC, good to see you back bro! Not many old faces around here and i havn't been on much myself. You're lookin damned solid the legs look great. That cycle should work real well, although you may wanna consider something for the bloat. Gimme a shout on AIM man!

ass to floor, meaning past parallel for squats as low as possible.

I feel like an idiot. Yeah I always go paralell or below. I saw a vid last night on youtube where some dude pauses for like five seconds at the bottom of the squat, I thought that maybe that is what you were referring to. thanks.

neo is right, ass to floor. It really is a much better way to squat as long as you have good knees, they are overall better for you. But be warned, if you have not been doing them deep, it's time to check your pride at the door for a little while as you can't lift near as much. As least I couldnot.

Nobody can LOL!!!

People are shocked when they see me take off weight from the bar after the smaller guys "squat"
