Here's a online coversion calculator for you http://www.onlineconversion.com/weight_common.htm
both charts are in pounds except where noted. For example the first chart the 148lbs woman did not bench 391lbs so you can safely assume everything in that row is in lbs. The second chart the 275lb guy did not squat 1118lbs so you can assume everthing in that row is in pounds also.

So now that who is confused is cleared up here is the post that got under my skin the most. http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/showthread.php?t=473515&page=1 go down through the pages and check the weight people say they lift. No offense to anyone but the first two replies alone would have won the whole thing in the second chart under the heavy weight division. Also they would have won it hands down while making the others look just plain stupid. I think we all should check and revize our weights we are listing. Sorry for the pissy adititude just can't belive what some are listing for weight lifted and then trying to tell me I got KG and Lbs mixed up.

that is not true, Kara did bench that much in pounds and it was a world record.

Damn... Threads like these make me want to laugh and cry...

Laugh because I'm always amazed by the level of idiocy of some people....

Cry because it'll be a few years until I can bench more than that 148lb girl :(

This whole thread is really useless. Whether or not people exaggerate on the Internet about the weights they lift is not really important. This site is really here to share information about training, techniques, etc. If anyone is on here to brag about what they lift or if you are on here to criticize people how much they lift in their posts, then you simply are missing the point of this site.

Now for the good news, Sidney. If you can put your ego aside and listen to some of the guys you're currently calling out; try to learn their work ethic and then attempt to emulate it under some stressful weights and get yourself a decent diet, you could be the one being called out for being unfeasibly strong in a few years.
