Real weight and WWW weight

if posting somthing makes one feel good then im all for it post that shit up i like to hear how stong yall are getting, and this is a steroid forum people on here lift big weights. thats a no brainer

The cool thing about this place is that it's not about egos (at least not entirely :D). Most of the bigger/stronger guys here take a 'mentor' type of approach rather than a condescending approach.

To call good, helpful people liars is beyond offensive in my eyes.

lol, ya can't even get mad at the guy because he is so stupid, he figured there was no way a 275lb WPO-caliber lifter could ever squat 1100lbs.

Someone needs to tell Mike Miller to quit making shit up about squatting 1200, at least pick a believeable number if you're going to post it on EF.

Red donations welcome

I was a little surprised to see some powerlifting totals done in the U.S. in kg!

Thought this was just the norm everywhere else in the world :p.

So much hate in this thread, and I missed it!?

Fuck you. All of you.

As demonstrated in Guinness's I think I may have found... thread, clearly showing Guinness and biggt (the two people singled out by Sidney) trying to help a kid out who clearly doesn't have a clue. Props to you guys.

Sidney, I think the word you're looking for is 'sorry', since you clearly made a mistake mixing lbs and kgs.

this is kind of a funny thread. i guess it shows how different peoples perspectives are. one upon a time when i was sort of a strong guy, i had done true OL style squats of 500x20reps and 605x10 reps, bar high on my back, way below parrallel, and not even wearing a belt. when i was in columbus at westside i was talking to louie about that, actually was quite proud of it... louie was totally indifferent and basically said it didnt matter a bit to him what someone could do with light weights like 500 or 600lbs, to know if you were strong or not hed have to see what you could do with a heavy weight!

on the other hand, you put something like that on some forums, and a bunch of guys are going to look at it as so incredible as to not believe it at all.

i guess when you train with guys like chuck v. every day, you dont impress easily, but when you train at the local golds and see guys puffing their chests out because they can take 315 halfway down for a few reps, anything really strong does seem unbelievable.

Alright, that sounds EXACTLY like my gym here in CS. Time to move to Wichita!. I would agree its all a matter of perspective though. Think when you first started, I was so proud to get 1 of the big plates on either side. Now its hardly a warmup.
