Protein Intake and Digestion

So then say calories not protein!!! its not the same thing Radio.
Ur the reason Bull and Broscience gets spread around when u say shit like that.
Now i know how the" muscle turns into fat" broscience got started.

I don't need to say calories because everyone with half a brain knows that protein, just like fats and carbs ultimately = calories, lol. Pretty sure I also wrote 'in a caloric surplus'. Not everyone needs it broken down that simplistically.

And once more.. Gluconeogenesis. Excess protein > converted to glucose > what isn't used as energy is stored by the body.

Sorry buddy, but you jumped the gun and were found wanting. Excess protein can turn into fat. Simple as that. Thanks for playing :)



Back on topic...GEAR rocks for this very reason!! Highest quality proteins available with fantastic absorption rates. Fantastic addition to really ANYTHING. I use it as often as I can get my hands on it.

So why did u only say protein? You could have said just plain cals or added fat and carbs.

I messaged you the same thing that I will say. do not flame other people, this is the rule that I personally will enforce as a moderator on this board and believe me if I do not do my job they will find someone to replace me on here.

the other guy stated his opinion, and you came back and tried to bait him into a fight. this is the kind of stuff that turns into big arguements. tone it down a notch my friend, remember when it comes to nutrition and the human body science is years behind and we are always coming up with new strategies and ideas, thats what this board is for. so you better be willing to listen to other peoples ideas and opinions and DISCUSS/DEBATE them in a mature manner or you will be only hindering your own evolution.

you seem like a smart dude but your attitude in your posts is not gonna be tolerated my friend. i'm sure you can convey your disagreements without name calling or calling someones opinion 'broscience' etc. the dude on here you flame could be the same dude at the gym who spots you, yes you would be suprised at how many of your fellow gym friends visit EF and i'm sure you wouldn't talk to them like this.

There's no set amount, only an estimate. The body extracts aminos when it needs them. Of course, steroids keep recirculating aminos. And super plasma protein goes into the bloodstream without digestion so they're creating a "hyper anabolic " environment.

Is Big Blast a super plasma protein?
 
I would say if you are eating every 2 1/2 to 3 hrs, 50 grams would be suffice for a 180 lb BB and up. I would say you could eat more post workout meal because absorption rate would be higher because of the expending energy, burning of calories, and muscle breakdown during your workout.
