I've been taking a post workout shake after training now, 50gms glucose 25gms whey protein + ginko biloba and vitamins (The supplement is called pro Recover by Chem Nutrition)
The trouble is if i train in the evening and i have thi sshake I just can't get to sleep. I spoke to a friend who reckons it's cos it gets my blood sugar levels so high and im probably hyper since i dont eat carbs otherwise (on a modified TKD style diet)
Any ideas what's happening and how i can get sleep? Is it the shake nd should I then dump it?
