Not really, although I could see why you might say that based on those two items.

I'm living near the furthest east end part of LI and what I miss the most from the city is the vast mix of cultures, the different sections of the city and now I feel like I live in a tub of vanilla ice cream.

The city was alive and now I live in an area that feels like it's on life support.
