Obesity in the US

Skinny people are now a minority. Do they get special scholarships now?

That's a really stupid, ignorant question. Come on man... you know better. EVERYONE gets scholarships as long as they aren't white... jeez a man can't get through the day without 'splaining things 10 times!!!

Holy fuck...it's probably higher to, around 70 percent, when I'm bored in GNC sometimes I take out a piece of paper and make a tally sheet : Normal - Fat - Obese...usually the normals (im generous) are the lowest, the obese is slightly higher than the normals and the fats are like 3-4x as much as eitehr one.

although that is sad....i see a good sign to this.....

I'll graduate from college next year and when i finish im going to become certified to be a personal trainer...and I dont think theres going to be a shortage of fat people around for me to train lol

Ya you won't be making shit for money when you get out, especially in this economy when fatasses are having trouble paying their bills the last thing they will be thinking about is paying someone to work them out.

My roommate has been a personal trainer for 15 yrs. and he is struggling to pay the bills and another personal trainer friend of mine just lost her car because she couldn't make the payments.

You won't get rich from personal training, that's for sure.

Interesting though that they define obese as 30 or more lbs over a healthy weight. To me, that's not obese. That's just plain old fat. Plus, by that criteria, many on this board are considered obese, myself included (pre-emptive shush for nature boy, scrappy, nathan, spent, humor me, and hg partypooper).

Hmmm, well according to Government standards I am about 65 Pounds overweight at 235... Even though my latest Bodyfat measurement puts me at about 11.5%... Huh, oh wellllllllllllll... Poor Obese Me.........
