Hey you just need to get as many chicks as you know into weightlifting!!! Spread the word!!! Or become a personal trainer :D

Plus there'll be more obese guys, so less competition for you.

Interesting though that they define obese as 30 or more lbs over a healthy weight. To me, that's not obese. That's just plain old fat. Plus, by that criteria, many on this board are considered obese, myself included (pre-emptive shush for nature boy, scrappy, nathan, spent, humor me, and hg partypooper).

I think thats still enough to be discustingly fat, in my eyes that is the embodiment of OBESE. You dont have to be 300 pounds of handicapped blubber to be obese.

I think if they did a study on the percentage of obesity among middle aged women would be even more astounding. That'd be around 90 percent. Also a study on those same women and the percentage of soccer mom bowl haircuts. That is a fact, Bob.

Eh, for a normal person maybe. But what about a bigger guy, say 6'3". And say his "healthy weight" is 210. 30 extra lbs on a guy like that is really not all that much, and certainly not obese, IMO.

OK....who's going to tell b fold he is obese? ;) A lot of what these studies say is not the whole picture. It's the people walking around who don't give a shit about the way they look and who don't want to eat right and feel good about themselves. Believe me, I've been there. I've been to 314 pounds and now I am 260 pounds and still wanting to get to about 225-230. It will happen but these things take time.

Thats true, so you could more accurately look at it as a percentage instead. Canada looks only at weight, not bodyfat percentage.
