Watch trucks on spike tv. they showed a couple variations on setups, one without the nitrous/propane was up to 500hp. I don't remember the torque though, but it was wicked high. I'd be going through u-joints and rear ends like they were t-shirts. ripping them to shreds.

You talkin about a Cummins or a Duracrap? On a duracrap that's pretty impressive, but not on a cummins.

why u cut duramax down bro? do i have to post a pic of my truck? they are the most luxurious of all 3 trucks. trust me my dad had a dodge they drive like a piece of shit and interior is not comfortable. ya sure they have good torque but i dont haul nothing so i dont need a truck that drives like a piece of shit. now for chev on the other hand she drive very nice. ya u have to spend lots to make it a bigger truck but when they are,they are sweet. i have a stock 350 engine with a 150 hp bully dog system. 4 inch exhaust system full flow, and a K&N cold air induction. oh sorry it might have 550-560.

Dude, I dont have a problem in the world with the duramax. After the disaster that was the 2002-2003 engines they've left something to prove IMO. On all the local pulling contests this last season, the duramaxes won the first couple events and the dudes ended up stretching headbolts by the end of the season. They do have great interiors, far better automatic transmissions than the dodge, and a powerful engine. On the other hand you need a 1/4 mile to turn them around, the steering is soft and mushy, it's an 8 hour project to change the turbo, changing the injectors is fucking impossible if you dont pull the motor, the transmission goes into limp mode (for some people) with little warning...

I'd for sure tak the creature comforts of the duramax over the dodge anyday. I dont have the $15k to replace a blown engine though. I'll stick with the cummins I can replace for $7-9k. Anyhoo, mod your truck... as long as it runs on diesel is okay in my book

ya but ive got like 100000 km on mine and never had a problem. u should never have to replace a turbo. never
