Thank you zed I will work with all this over the next couple wks see the problem I have also is my gym has no wi-fi so I'm unable to watch diesels vids as I'm lifting . I will study all this thanks so much Zed!

I just noticed for some reason I had 3x5 on today's log for ohp. But I done all 5x5 today so this means I get to add mon woohoo!!

Also just wanted to tell you sugazombie thats what speed skaterrs do, the duck walk for thigh/glute development and lower back flexibility. Female speed skaters have the sexiest thighs...YUM!

Actually slept all nite last nite..so I was happy. Just woke up earlier than normal. I could definitely tell my lack of sleep affected my workout yesterday.

Omg girl I'm knacked I just got in now from 9 this morning my girl is a slave driver lol it's now like 7.15 , all done now though food shopping was a nightmare there are crazy lady's armed with trolleys I swear I was close to been locked up for Christmas Jesus there's some crazy people out there lmfao.

So glad you slept chic I know what you mean it does affect your working out dramatically .

Now time for a cup of tea! Lol very British thing to do ! Ha

Yeah I'm doing Christmas shoppin for my stepson today and people are nuts!! Went to toys r us and man...you would've thought everything in there was free the way they were carrying on. Craziness!!

You cracked me up talking about being locked up for Christmas. Can't tell you how many times I've thought that!! I had to do a criminal background check to do clinicals in a hospital and I kept thinking 'hurry up and process it while I don't have a record because somedays I feel like I'm gonna be getting one soon!!'. Too funny!!

Thank you...I hope he will be. This is my 2nd Christmas with them but his first Christmas at our house so I wanted it to be special for him. My husband didn't want to get him alot because he has a huge Christmas at his mom's house but I couldn't help it. I mean he's 10...ya know!!?? Christmas is for kids..so I went crazy today!! And I'm proud of what I got him..so I hope he'll be pleased!

I used to be extremely shy...so we are getting opposite...I keep getting wilder and more outspoken the older I get. I think my mom is scared!! Lol!!

Toys r us..freakin crazy right now. Glad I'm outta there!!

Aww...thanks that means alot!! Yep I used to be so shy in school that my eyes would tear up when I got called on in school. I mean really just a baby. Now I'm no where near shy and people that I meet never would've imagined that I was shy but people that I knew when I was a kid think I'm crazy now. Like a different person. Really strange how we change and grow as we get older.

Here is your program,
100 pushups not the gurly ones. Dont matter how but get in 100.
100 body weight squats with a broom stick across your shoulders. Same as above.
50 each leg lunges or step ups your choice.
100 pull ups same as above
Fast jog 1600 meters, walk 1600 meters, repeat.
Done!

Zed I found this I know you said no machines lol but I find I can do this without irritating my elbow and on the diagram it shows it's good for all the back. I can do it at a good weight also. Let me know what your thoughts are chief. Thank you. Also I'm loving bench at the min you know I've gained almost 40k in lifts in two year to me that is outstanding lol. I left the gym feeling a million dollars !

You're numbers are amazing!! I think the increase is great too..good job! I'm so impressed with your bench. My chest is, by far, my weakest area and you are rocking it!! Very inspiring!!
 
sugazombie if it works for you then fine by me gurl. Just keep your weight up on it cuz the machine takes some of the weight right back off due to its structure.
Also suga I just wanna say you are doning such an amazing job. This is how a 5x5 should be done. Anybody does it like this will get these kind of reults out of it.

sometimes we have no choice but to use machines due to limited movement or injury as long as you can train thats all that matters.

I'm loving every minute of the 5x5 it's always a challenge to get that next set my bench is up to 75k now two years ago I was only benching 40k my size gains are outstanding it's only recently I missed a couple reps so had to stay at the same weight for next workout but next workout I killed them I'm 12 weeks into it now and can't wait for the next 12. One or two slight hitches with injury one been tennis elbow which resulted in taking rows out and swapping them with seated lat raise it takes the strain off my elbow I also wear a support which seems to be great. I would appreciate any help you have time to offer Nate zed also is my hero as its because of him my training has come so far. Anyway all the best to you for 2012 Nate.

You can use that but you can also buy plain gelatine. This is excellent for joints! Just ask a store clerck, but you should be able to find it by the jello that you are talking about too. Or you might find it in the Canning section if your store has one.




Zed isifgt, its better to maintain than to wait until the whole foundation breaks down.

As for chems I'm running 0.50 test p e very 3 days I started that when I hit my first brick wall along with winny injectable 0.5o e every other day but I quit the winny when started having elbow pain. Sups are creatine amino acids and phd carb powder which I use pre and during workout and after I also use shakes but tend to limit them as I get most protein from good food .
I would say my goals are to gain as much mass possible and strength without using too many Chems .
I'm contemplating competing next year but not 100% on what at I'm going to speak to a guy from a local gym for advice on this.
I take my training very seriously as before I started training I when down the wrong road so to speak and made a lot of mistakes. And body building has gave me something to focus on .
