Ok so I'm half way through week 8 here's workout A today. Workout a
Squat 2x7 @35k

5x5 @62.5 137lb

B press 2x5 30k
2x5 37.5
5x5 65 K 143lb

3x5 45k
5x5 65k 143lb
took 20mg test p and 25mg winny before workout going to repeat before each workout so 60mg test n 75 winny per week also upped carbs in food and powder mixed wiv shakes . Pulled today off really well pleased with myself lol.

Awesome..super..fricking fantastic, killer workout my friend. I'm so proud of you!! Great job. Keep kicking azz!!

Been to the docs today as been getting elbow pain for some time now it comes and goes but yesterday it came with vengeance and kept me up all night it's still extremely painful today. So the docs said its tennis elbow gave me stong anti inflammatory and told me to rest it , Also my good friend Zed gave me some great advice so thanks Zed. Hope to be back Monday !!

Sorry to hear that girl. As much as it sucks, take the time to rest. It's worth it in the long run. I hope you recover quickly!!

If we have to we will alternate your workout to compensate for the inflamation.

I think it's contagious! My back started feeling better, so I headed to the gym.. Had a liter pain in between my shoulder blades... Which I attributed to the stress I am under... Went to do close grip bp... And well um my left arm went numb, and I well almost killed myself via bar to the throat hahaha

I think it's a pinched nerve or something... I can't even hold a bottle of water in my hand... So back to no gym... Lol what the heck is going on here... Two days shy of 32 and I'm fallin apart?!? What the heck!!

I hope you feel better soon D!!!

Thanks Snipes !! I would be very cautious of this it sounds like exactly what happens to my trapeze after pull ups and that's normaly a warning if it goes of completely it's so painful I couldn't even talk as the pain when I did was excruciating in the end my docs prescribes diazepam to relax the muscle I had three weeks off work and the gym then when I got bk to gym a month later the same thing happened. Pull-ups are all very good only after extreme warmups and caution of form. Hope your feeling much better soon chic

Thank you Jen. I'm feeling loads better but as I understand it's hard to get rid of. I'm praying that it's stays away. Zeus helping me replace rows with something equal to them as it came on during rows on more than 1 occasion.

I've always had a problem spelling it's like some form of dyslexia it's crazy because it's only little words I have trouble with and as much as I learn how to spell it the next time I try it's not right , my spelling is that bad that even spellcheck don't understand it lmao.

I actually spent most of the day in bed... This pinched nerve is killin my motivation! No birthday cake either :(

I have a hard time with the rest of life when I can't get to the gym... It brings me down. There is not even a small hint of improvement in the pain, and it is very discouraging.

But thank you both for the birthday wishes! :D
 
Sorry to hear that snipes. The pain is so intense too. I used to take two paracetamol and two ibuprofen together it's the only thing that helped it only eased it didn't take it away completely but in that much pain anythings better than nothing!

The test is whats making you retain water. Guyz use Arimedex or Aromasin for that but IDK what ladies use for it. Are you using the winny? With your inflamation I would adivse against it sugazombie.
I will talk with N2 about your bloat. Also keep an eye on your bp, and watch salt intake.
 
Thanks Zed I found it a lot easier than last time. Yeah I spoke to needto sat he recommended 20mg winny ED. and test 50mg 3x Per wk. So you think I should stop the winny ? I don't mind either way just wasn't sure if this elbow thing is joint connected so just thought I would carry on as the rest of my joints seem great. I'm eating 3000 mg fish oil a day and glucosomine but if you think the best bet is to stop I appreciate your opinion and will ASAP. Thanks again for the vid I can't wait to try them.

Ok sugazombia, drop the winni. Its just drying you out and increasing inflamation. Also get gelatine and use it in every shake you drink and drink more water then whatever your drinking now.

Lol I'm sure you could purée some kind of fruit and mix the gelatin and some splenda in it and would taste similar....not quite the same.

I beat my personal best on Bpress today 67.5 k now I wondering what Im going to do in a couple workouts when I start struggling as I don't have anyone to spot me as I train alone and the only time I can train is when there's no one else in I'm worried in case I stumble with bpress and I know you guys say smith is outa bounds so not sure what to do.........

You can use that but you can also buy plain gelatine. This is excellent for joints! Just ask a store clerck, but you should be able to find it by the jello that you are talking about too. Or you might find it in the Canning section if your store has one.

On the shrugs remember to go back toward your waist also. So the motion is up and back. If you can do both up and back as one motion fine and if you have to make it two movements thats fine too.

well.....cosby was kinda arrested for drunk driving a couple times so he may know about the jello shots!

would you suggest using glutamine chews in addition to gelatine? my joints kinda suck especially my shoulder and knees.

The nice thing about that 5x5 is that you dont go to failure on your excersizes. So if you dont feel that you can do the weight for the full set of reps then just do what you feel pretty sure you can.

So lets just say that your benching 135, 5x5. You do your first set fine and feel strong, thats 1x5 and same on second set all good.

So now we are on our 3rd set and your starting to feel the weight. So you 1x4, that was set 3.

Then on your next set, set 4 you can only do one and your shot. Ok fine. STOP. Your done with bench for this time around.

Then next bench workout you work to improve each set from set 3 by 1 more rep. You do this till you get the 5x5 for your bench. Then you progress and add the appropriate weight.

This is frequently how I progress as I get up in the heavier weights.

Also those peeps at the counter are paid to be there to help you out. Dont be afraid to ask them for a spot if you want to. Its their job!

For you sugazombie there are no machines at your gym, Smith or otherwise.:evil:

Take it EASY on those joints... Especially if you've been on winnie. I totally agree with Zed about the gelatin (there are some good "joint support" powders they sell at Whole Foods here). I think also make sure your diet is on point and I'd get some Vitamin C (you need it with the gelatin to build cartilage and other joint tissues) if you're not already taking it. The water is a key point too.

Be careful benching without a spot. That's how I tore my rotator cuff a while back. Something to think about: when we train for strength our joints can't always keep up with our muscles. Your body is already sending you signals that you're at that boundary. You can still grow and get stronger without maxxing out every time. Focus on form. Lift safe. I need you to keep posting great workouts for a long time!!! ;p

Glutamine is great for muscle recovery, but are you thinking of Glucosamine for your joints?

Crap. You guys/girls just convinced me to put Glucosamine back in my PWO shake. I ran out and decided I didn't need it. Well, upon thinking about it my routine has been beating the bag out of me since I stopped adding it!
 
Glad the glucos works for you bro. I tried it for about a year. All I got from it was a flat wallet.

Haha I had many drunken nights with vodka jello lol I don't drink now prolly a good job coz the hangover thing is a killer.

Thanks so much Jen it's the best thing ever when you guys big me up lol it's great for my ego haha. Also I sometimes don't see any difference as I look in the mirror a 1000 times a day lol so to hear other people say it means a lot. Thanks your a real treasure

Yes..great post CB. Especially on cycle, we think we are super human but can do the damage too. It seems to be the message of the month for all of us...pay attention to our bodies and train smart. Patience. All that good stuff!!
