New HGH ???s

Going to start another GH cycle and need a few answers. Is there anyway to ease the Carpal Tunnel like syndrome I get whenever I use GH? Maybe certain exercises, heat , cold, stretching, anything so I can stay on. Also, when using GH before a contest should I just stay on the GH and get rid of the water through diuretic use or should I stop the use of the GH a few weeks out from the show?

Raging Bull:

You compete, right? How much GH do you take in a typical cycle?

I assume a lot. Maybe 10+ I.U.'s/day.

There can be a lot of GH side effects other than the wrist discomfort. Let's try to isolate the problem. Do you feature an acromegaly-type face? Big jaw, frontal lobe, etc? (Or, according to one message, the "Shannon Sharpe-look.")

If no, then I suspect that GH may make worse an existing "carpal tunnel" syndrome. You lift and already place a lot of stress on the connective tissue in the lower arm. (Think of what a 100 pd. dumbell and pump can do.) GH causes ligaments/tendons to grow. So a cycle and connective tissue growth may leave less free space availabe in the wrist. In effect, the chance of pinching a nerve increases.

Any other aggravating factors? Maybe at a daytime job? (Or are you a pro BB?) Repetitive stress -- like the keyboard, assembly line, meat-packing, etc.

Short term, you may consider a night-brace(s) to hold/keep your wrist(s) in a non-stressful position. Heat should help circulation, too. (Blood supply to connective tissue is not always good.)

Or stop using GH. It's the "quit while you're ahead" approach. Not really, though. I understand how the stuff can competitively help you.

Long term, the GH episodes/pain may foreshadow a more serious, underlying issue. Surgery is a solution. (I don't want to scare you.) In that case, the problem is so unbearable that ligaments/tendons are severed to relieve pressure on local nerves -- the source of pain. The recovery could really fuck-up a BB season.

Good luck.

gringo is correct. you might also think about taking less. many bros who go over 6 ius per day begin to have the carpal problem. they lower the iu's and it solves the problem.

HGH

Thanx my friends appreciate your replies greatly. This is my third HGH cycle and it always seems to make me hold a bit more water. Yes I do compete but at a novice level and it will be the first time competing with the aid of GH. Was trying to go up in dosage but got the Carpal Tunnel so I even tried to drop the dosage but it didn't help. Going to stay at less then 6 ius a day this go around but I know the wrist and hand problems well come on rather quickly. Also in my opinion HGH effects come on more quickly then most people state. Most say you must stay on a minimum of 3 months to have any effects and I say this is bull. In a months time I noticed my body change quite dramaticaly. Last go around the Carpal Tunnel came on with in the first 2 weeks. As far as remedies to the problems have already tried the night time wrist bracies which seem to help a bit but never tried heat. Some people have told me to try icing the wrist area to try and bring down the swelling and this is why I asked the questions to get more ideas. Oh ya, my job does not aggravate this as I never had anything like this before HGH use. Also, no other negative sides even though I have a bit of a frontal lobe naturally. Again thanx for the input and any more info or opinions would be appreciated....
