Yep. That's the advantage of being an older man. I know what comments will sting a woman. I've never said anything like that to her before, despite all the shit she has put my daughter and I through. I can only be pushed so far.

i dated a chick once that really stank all the time. i hated going down on her and looked for ways to avoid it.

the next chick i dated i was friends with while i was seeing the stinky girl. i bitched about the stinky girl once. the next girl was worried i'd say the same about her.

she didn't stink though.

so yeah, you're right that certain comments will sting a woman. they will also intimidate another woman even if it's not aimed at her.
