the rap was for jokes, but damn guys this kid has definitely changed me. I quit cigs the day he was born, havent smoked since March 1st. Ive also not worn a hat since then....I just feel more mature already. It definitely is a good thing. Its funny how some of u guys say you dont want to have a kid at an early age because you wanna party and fuck 5's and 6's. Thats cool but to tell me my life was over was just ridiculous, you dont WANT to do those things when you have a kid. Yea I could if I wanted to, but I would rather step up and be involved in my childs life. I WANT to be involved. I dont want to smoke cigs anymore. I dont want to party either. I just want to be a good father

The fullfillment you get out of having a kid will ALWAYS outweight whatever you think you are getting from being out partying. I think that happens at any age - just sometimes people don't see it.

I guess you just dont understand what i am saying. if you happened to have a kid, on purpose or not, and knew he was yours, and held him, and started to love him, you wouldnt miss being single. Sometimes you make no sense to me. What chances can I not take now? What chances did you take and fail? Ill always be able to get a job. Look at me bro, not being cocky but I can always get a part time job. I can always get support from my family or my g/f's family.

I wonder why you think by not having a kid you are able to experience more personal growth.

I'm not sure what 20 something is "lonely" because he doesn't have a kid. Usually friends, a significant other, and pets fill that void just fine for most people till they're ready to have a kid.

Is the opportunity to experience a wide variety of things in life, which I've learned and grown from.
I was able to take chances, and even when I failed, I was able to recover and transition quickly while learning from my mistakes. It's called personal growth, and that concept changes drastically when you have a child. Your margin for error is almost non existent.

completely established professionally in order to give them access to the best education, upbringing and culture is really selfish. And it's also really selfish to wait till you find a suitable wife to be a mother and life partner.

Per CW's post, most people wait because they arent being selfish...they want to be at a point in their lives where they are responsible and can provide their children with the best environment possible.

Nah, a lot of people want to party. Some want to save and be good parents, but not most.

My point about a part time job was that i can still take chances and be able to provide for my kid. He might not be driving a BMW, but I will still provide for him.

Of course I wish I had more money for my baby and our family, and I had already finished school, and had a career.
