94% of women surveyed
felt that sex was "always wrong" or "almost always wrong."
Out of this same group:
25% of the men had been unfaithful and
17% of the women had been unfaithful
When applied to today's population, these ratios "mean that some 19 million American men and 12 million American women have entwined at least once outside the marriage bed."*

What about people who are on or below the poverty line? I don't know of any scientific polls to validate this, but it seems to me the number of infidilty cases are pretty high in lower income people, too.
