Family is scum. They are the ones who use their good standing to stab you in the back. I grew up taught that blood is thicker than water, whatever kind of gay ass bullshit analogy that is anyway..........but alas it's horseshit!! Meant to keep you trapped in a group of people who don't respect boundaries and do things that would get a normal person's ass knocked the fuck out. Family needs to be punched sometimes, remind them that there's grown ass consequences for pulling some bullshit. I whole heartedly refuse the notion anymore that this country has gone down hill because the "nuclear family" has been deterioted. Everyone I know has been fucked over by a family member........once you turn 18 you should leave and never look back, start your own life......fuck family in the mouth. Socially this country would be full of much stronger people.......full of "individuals". Mis placed loyalty to family is what makes us weak "IMO".

my fam is always always there for me, regardless of how fucked up they are or how many problems they have. i just wish i was better to them myself

Single moms and welfare checks, delinquent kids growing up in day care, etc. There's more to it than your personal experiences with family.
