immune system while on as

rest, eat and continue cycle...train again in few days when feeling better.

Thats what i did. Took some antibodics, cold meds, and took 4 days of work and training. Will start back up on Monday when i start week 5. That should be the best week to be well rested. I usually see results starting around week 5. I usually get sick like this everytime I use test, but it is usually not for another week os so. It seems like in this cycle I am getting these sides a little quicker. Maybe because of the higher dosage.

The cold is completely gone now. And I am hoping to really explode on Monday. I have felt only 80% this whole cycle so far. I really need to get my immune system in check.

Hey bro...don't sweat it too much. Just listen to what your body is telling you. Maybe it's not the best idea to go all out on Monday...ease back into it. If you feel good, then go for it...but always listen to your body, it will tell you exactly what you should and shouldn't be doing.

Do you guys take any anti-oxidants when you are cycling? Between the overload of test, the high protein diets, etc. there can be a back log of crap / free radicals that aren't getting shuttled out of your body. WHenever I run a competition diet for 4 months +, I do a 1-2 week detox diet (basically alot of juicing, very low protein, high fruit intake) to just clean all the shit out.

You make a damn good point Sassy. Although living the BB lifestyle is healthier than most other people's lifestyles, some aspects are not as healthy. Diet can easily be one of them if you're not on point. Antioxidants are definitely a good addition to the repertoire.

On one hand you are loadign up chemicals in your body that promote fat loss & muscle growth. Then you are following a restricted diet w/ heavy protein, no fruit & very restricted variety of food. So you are 1) introducing these chemicals that obviously affect your body and w/ all the discussion about how hard especially certain AAS make your liver work (thus the liver detox stuff, the cranberry extract, the milk thistle) you have to expect that there's some by product left over somewhere in your system. And w/ the normal variety of food in your diet removed, things that the body relies on like the enzymes in fruits to shuttle out the free radicals, etc. there's got to be a lot of shit floating around in there.

Here's the evidence for that in general - when I first ran a detox diet, the nutritionist that I was workign w/ said to expect to maybe get headaches or feel sick for a few days while all the shit was getting first released and then cleared out. Cycling + dieting / training is like a double whammy of stuff that is floating around. So it follows that you might encounter some sickness while your body has stuff floating around in it, and also you can't continue to constantly be hitting your body w/ the same type of diet w/o considering giving it a good clean out - same concept as a good colon clease but a little more natural / less harsh.

so does that mean we should be using some colon blow also? you know they have enema bombs? ahhaha i just saw these, stick it up your butt light and poof your clean! no but serriously, i try and keep a balanced diet, fruit, veggies, whatever i dont care, i just make sure I eat a lot, and that what I do eat is good whole, healthy food, celery, apples, oranges, potatoes, banannas, whole wheat breads, elk steaks, I buy whole 10+ lb turkeys at a time, protein shakes, grapes, rasins, peanutbutter, fish, and seafood. Stick to as natural of food as possible and youll be fine has always been my concept, america is too full of shitty foods, salts and fats, just be sure you eat real food, that grows!

Some steroids do lower the immune system. Some have no impact. Deca does improve the immune system. Deca has been shown to increase bone density and bone marrow production. Your lymphocytes (T-cells, etc...) are produced in the bones...so it makes sense that Deca can improve the immune system.

Did you get test flu? Well, maybe....but then again maybe you just happened to get sick.
